This incident takes place in a gay bar named Blakes, in Atlanta Georgia. It seems that an intoxicated patron threw a drink in an off duty police officers face. But the crux of the story for DCMR is the last paragraph in the news post that I have provided in the link below. These are a few words in that paragraph ( It is not illegal for citizens to film police actions) the point I want to make is that it’s legal to record police.
